This role is responsible for ensuring event guests and vendors respect and following all established rules and expectations for protecting the collections and historic spaces and properties of Johns Hopkins University.

The role of the site supervisor is to give guests an experience of a lifetime, all while working in a gorgeous environment, provide outstanding customer service to clients, guests, and vendors, perform walkthrough of spaces before guests arrive, perform periodic walkthroughs of event space during the event, and assist vendors with any questions about the event.
The American Visionary Art Museum - Event Manager
The Event Manager is responsible for greeting guests, directing vendors to proper set up locations, ensuring vendors adhere to venue guidelines for set up and clean up, occasionally moving tables and chairs, ensuring all items are removed from the venue at the completion of the event, controlling basic AV equipment, and troubleshooting any venue-related issues that may arise during the course of an event.
